Kitchen Incubator
The Makers Landing Food Lab incubation programme supports early-stage businesses and entrepreneurs in the food industry by providing structured support and skills development.
Makers
The Makers at Makers Landing are food producers and small businesses who celebrate a farm-to-table and nose-to-tail approach. Here the very best of South African food and flavours is celebrated – with everything from aromatic curries, to locally produced cheese, to fresh koeksisters and freshly ground coffee.
Demo Kitchen
The Makers Landing kitchen studio is an event space which hosts pop up events, demos and experiences, and which can also be rented out for shoots, food demos and private events.
The Vibe
Makers Landing is a place for everyone – a place for people to connect, learn and share, with food as a passion point. As well as scheduled programmes and events, the space is open every day for people to shop, browse, eat, or simply to experience the makers, their food, and their stories.
Public Launch Event
Don’t miss the official opening of Makers Landing on 18 & 19 December. There’s a seat for everyone at our table! Join our food community: bring along a plate that tells the story of YOUR culture and heritage, and it could end up in an exhibition within our space. The V&A will also feed a belly in need for every meal purchased at Makers Landing. So let’s make change together, one plate at a time!

Makers Landing is situated at the Cruise Terminal. Enter Dock Rd from Coen Steytler, continue towards the Silo District, at the circle before South Arm Rd, turn right into the Cruise Terminal. Parking can be found at Makers Landing.
