Our Approach

How it Works

The Makers Landing Food Business Incubator is a 12-month incubation programme designed to empower food entrepreneurs with access to holistic business development support and specialized kitchen equipment to enable business growth and resilience. Businesses that are selected to participate in the Food Business Incubator Programme receive access to business development training, specialized technical support, mentorship, access to market and access to funding.

Pre-Incubation

During the 2-month pre-incubation phase the businesses completes a business diagnostics assessment to identify the gaps and key focus areas over next 12 months.

The entrepreneurs get to work with a mentor to define their business purpose, build a growth strategy and a practical action plan. This phase includes product development support.

Incubation Phase

The 5-month Incubation Phase combines in-class learning and online entrepreneurship skills training, mentorship, market readiness, funding readiness and technical assistance.

This phase comprises of bespoke training workshops, individual tasks and monthly mentorship sessions to nurture your food business.

Growth Phase

Businesses that graduate from the Incubation Phase received continued support through the Growth Phase. The 5-month Growth Phase focuses on scaling the food business operations.

This phase offers market access support, funding, masterclasses, networking events and continued mentorship to ensure the business reaches its full potential.
