At Makers Landing, the ethos is all about sharing. That’s why our makers exchange ideas, family recipes and their favourite interpretations of local meals… with one another, and with you.

While they respect heritage, the food entrepreneurs who call Makers Landing home are bold experimenters too. How does it work?
Makers Landing is a dynamic hub located in a working harbour, blending food innovation with community and commerce. Here's what makes it tick:
  • Shared Kitchen Spaces (Open 24/7): Food entrepreneurs can access fully-equipped kitchens to develop and scale their products.
  • Incubation & Acceleration: At the heart of Makers Landing is our Food Incubator Program a platform designed to support and grow emerging food entrepreneurs. We’ve proudly run 5 successful cohorts and are currently supporting our 6th group of passionate, innovative food business owners. Whether you're just starting out or ready to scale, our program offers hands-on support, mentorship, access to kitchen infrastructure, and market opportunities. https://www.makerslanding.co.za/incubator/
  • Maker Spaces & Tenants: We host a variety of permanent & semi-permanent tenants: makers, bakers, chefs, and creators who contribute to our vibrant ecosystem.
  • Event & Experience Spaces: Our spaces are available for hire, whether you're planning a pop-up, workshop, private event, or corporate gathering.
